Learnership & Internship Programmes

A Learnership is a work-based education and training programme that is linked to a qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Learnership consist of both structured theoretical learning and practical workplace experience. While Internship is a programme designed to give University and TVET College graduates an opportunity to extend their academic qualifications through structured workplace exposure and specialised training. Participants are placed on a full-time basis for a period of eight to twelve months in an organisation, which will provide the learner with workplace experience that builds on the qualification.

Zion HR Consultants will assist organisation with their Learnership & Internship Programmes. Services include:

  • Application for Skills Grant and completing the letters of intent to relevant SETA’s
  • Following up with the SETA’s regarding Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Work hand in hand with Training Providers to ensure that relevant training courses are conducted in line with SETA requirement.
  • Handle all aspect of administration aspects of the Learnership and internship programme and keep track of all documents such agreements, code of conduct and progress reports etc.
  • Provide reports as required to the SETA’s in line with the SLA requirement.

Mentoring and Coaching
